Ogun Tech Community Expands Into Greater Mowe as Vnicom Solutions Launches Turnify to the World

Two significant things happened in Ogun State on the same day, and they were not unrelated.

The Ogun Tech Community officially inaugurated the Greater Mowe Tech Community, a new regional chapter extending the organisation’s reach across Mowe, Ibafo, Asese, Magboro, Ofada, Wawa, Lotto, and Arepo. On the same occasion, Vnicom Solutions Limited publicly launched Turnify, its smart queue management system designed to address the broken waiting room experience in Nigerian hospitals. The alignment was not accidental. Both events pointed at the same idea: that technology infrastructure in Ogun State is expanding outward, into communities and into institutions that have long been left out of the conversation.

The Greater Mowe Tech Community inauguration is the Ogun Tech Community’s latest move in a deliberate effort to decentralise access to technology opportunities across the state. A customised Greater Mowe Tech Community identity was unveiled, adapted from the official Ogun Tech Community logo to reflect the region’s character while preserving the parent organisation’s values. A dedicated community group was launched and tech hub owners across the axis were formally inducted, creating a structured network connecting technology professionals, entrepreneurs, startups, students, and digital enthusiasts across the Greater Mowe corridor.

Speaking at the event, Ogun Tech Community President Mr. Durosinmi Adekunle described the expansion as a strategic step in strengthening local innovation ecosystems and empowering more young people and professionals to build with technology across the state.

The second major moment of the day belonged to Vnicom Solutions. Dr. Oluwole Ogunsanya, MD of the Ogun State software company, took the stage to present Turnify under the theme “Patients Should Not Have to Gamble with Their Time.” The platform is built to solve a problem most Nigerians have experienced personally: spending hours in a hospital waiting room for a consultation that lasts a fraction of that time. The event included a live demonstration of Turnify and testimonials from attendees sharing real waiting room experiences.

Turnify had already been deployed quietly at the University College Hospital Ibadan as part of a formal academic research study before this public debut. The Greater Mowe launch put the product in front of a wider audience of innovators, industry leaders, and partners for the first time.

For Ogun State’s ecosystem, the day represented something worth marking. A technology community pushing deeper into underserved corridors of the state, and a homegrown software product stepping onto a bigger stage. Both moving in the same direction.
